Overview

Photo Collage Grid (“the Add-on”) is a Google Slides™ Editor Add-on that helps you arrange photos into collage grid layouts directly within Google Slides™ presentations.

What data we access

The Add-on requests access to the following Google services:

Scope	Why it’s needed
presentations (Google Slides™)	To read the current slide’s dimensions and to insert and position images on your slides.
script.container.ui	To display the collage panel sidebar inside Google Slides™.

The Add-on does not request access to Google Drive™ or any other Google service. Photos are added either from your computer (uploaded directly into the slide) or from images already present on the current slide.

What data we collect and store

We do not collect, sell, or share any personal data.

• We do not store your Google Account™ information.
• We do not store or keep copies of the photos you use — they are placed directly onto your slide and never sent to us.
• We do not log your usage or activity.
• The only data stored is your Pro unlock state, kept in Google’s per-user Properties for your own account: a license status flag, the license key you entered (so Pro stays unlocked for you), and a randomly generated per-account identifier used to manage how many accounts a license is active on. This is stored within your own Google Account™.

All collage processing happens entirely within your Google Account™ using Google’s own infrastructure (Apps Script). Your photos never leave Google’s servers.

Third-party services

The Add-on only contacts servers outside Google when you take a Pro-license action (activating a license, or moving it to another account). It never transmits your photos, slides, or Google Account™ information. Specifically:

• Gumroad (api.gumroad.com) — when you activate a Pro license, your license key is checked against Gumroad to confirm it corresponds to a valid, un-refunded purchase.
• License service (pcg-license-backend.malvarrosastudio.workers.dev, our own server hosted on Cloudflare) — to enforce the “one license = one account at a time” rule, the Add-on sends your license key and the randomly generated per-account identifier described above when you activate. If you choose to move your license to another Google Account™, it also sends the purchase email you enter (used only to verify the request against your Gumroad purchase and release the previous account’s slot). We do not use this email for marketing and do not share it.

These calls happen only when you click “Activate” or “Move my Pro license.” Free use of the Add-on contacts no external server at all.

Payments

Pro features are unlocked via an external purchase on Gumroad. All payment processing is handled by Gumroad under their own privacy policy. We receive only a license-key verification result — never your payment details.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated policy will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
