How to install & activate

Welcome! This takes about 30 seconds. Three steps.

Install the add-on

Install it free from the Google Workspace Marketplace:

Install for Google Slides™

Google asks for permission → approve. The add-on only requests Slides access and the sidebar UI (it doesn't ask for Drive or your email).

You get the 28 free templates and a 7-day Pro trial right away. To keep all 60 templates for good, buy a Pro license (step 3).

Open it inside Google Slides™

Open any Google Slides™ presentation (or create a new one at slides.new). In the top menu: Extensions → Photo Collage Grid → Open Collage Panel.

The sidebar opens on the right. You can already use the 28 free templates right away.

Activate your Pro license

In the sidebar, click the Get Pro button (purple, top-right area). A modal opens with a license key field.

Copy the license key from your Gumroad receipt email (subject: "Your Photo Collage Grid license") — it looks like XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXX.

Paste it in the field → click Activate.

🎉 Pro unlocked.

All 60 templates are now available + styling (spacing, borders, background color, palette presets). Pro stays unlocked on this Google Account™ across every Slides file you open.

💡 Tips

  • Switching computers? Nothing to do — your license is tied to your Google Account™, not your device. Sign in on any computer and Pro is unlocked.
  • Lost the license key? Re-open the Gumroad receipt email, OR log into gumroad.com/library with the email you bought with.
  • One license = one Google Account™. The add-on enforces this at activation. Need to move your license to a different Google Account™? Email us — we'll reset it for you (usually within 24 hours).

Troubleshooting

"That key isn't valid" — Copy the key directly from the Gumroad receipt (no extra spaces). If still failing, email us — we'll respond within 24 hours.

"This license is already activated on another Google Account™" — Your key is bound to whichever Google Account™ first activated it. To transfer it to this account, email us your license key and we'll reset it.

The sidebar doesn't open — Reload the Slides tab (Cmd+R / Ctrl+R) and try again. If the menu doesn't show, uninstall the add-on and install it again, then reload the Slides tab.
